Mark Solley Executive Producer and DirectorMark is an energetic seasoned production professional with expertise in almost every discipline of video production. He has a proven record of success creating multiple block buster Infomercials and marketing videos that have generated hundreds of millions of dollars in sales.Mark prides himself on creating programs that reach out to both young and old. He enjoys looking for creative approaches to projects to bring fresh dynamics to the content he creates.
In 1985, Solley formed a production company in California and began producing television commercials and industrials for major clients including Mattel, TRW, GTE, Carl’s Jr., and McDonalds. He also worked on several feature films as a 2nd unit director, production manager, and associate producer. From 1992 to 1997, his company was producing exclusively for Maui Productions, the major producer of infomercials for Regal Communications Corp., one of the world’s largest infomercial companies. He was contracted in 1997 by the Media Group and relocated his company to the east coast, moving into the heart of New York City.
At the Media Group he was in charge of half-hour infomercials, direct response spots, network commercials, as well as point-of-sale and live on-air presentations for both QVC and The Home Shopping Network. While there, here was responsible for some of the top grossing shows of all time, including The PowerWash, EZ Krunch, Duralube, Glo Shield and many more. In 2006-2007, Solley produced a program for The Bean, which was in the top 10 infomercials for that year. He has worked with celebrities such as Loretta Swift, Faye Dunaway, and Florence Henderson. Solley is the winner of several Jordan Whitney awards, including for best infomercial and twice for Director of the Year. His shows have grossed an excess of 500 million dollars. Apart from producing commercial, and corporate programming, Mark is also the producer and director of two upcoming reality shows, Sunset Spin, and High Wire Warriors.
